What Affects Your Trade-In Value?
Every hot tub trade-in is different. Here's a general breakdown of what we look at when estimating value:
Premium Working Tubs (0-8 years)
Recent Jacuzzi, Hydropool, HotSpring, Sundance, or similar premium brands in working condition get the highest trade-in credit. Good cover, no shell damage, all jets and pumps functional.
Mid-Tier Working Tubs
Arctic, Coast, Beachcomber, Master Spas, Dynasty working tubs under 12 years old with normal wear get solid trade-in credit.
Older or Non-Working Tubs
Hot tubs older than 15 years, budget brands, or units with significant damage (cracked shell, major leaks, blown pumps) receive reduced credit — but we still accept them.
Damaged or Dead Tubs
We'll still take non-repairable tubs off your property as part of your new spa delivery. Minimal or no credit, but you don't have to deal with disposal yourself.
Photos Help Us Give You an Accurate Estimate
After you submit the form, we'll email you to request photos. This lets us give you the most accurate trade-in value. When you email us back, please include:
- Exterior shot — The full hot tub from outside, including cover and cabinet panels
- Interior/shell photo — Cover removed, showing the full inside with seats and jets visible
- Problem areas — Close-ups of any cracks, stains, leaks, damaged panels, or torn covers
- Equipment area — Open the access panel and photograph the pumps/heater if you can
- Brand/model plate — Close-up of the manufacturer sticker (usually inside equipment compartment)

What hot tub brands do you accept as trade-ins?
We accept trade-ins on every major hot tub brand, including Jacuzzi, Hydropool, Master Spas, Arctic Spas, Coast Spas, Beachcomber, Dynasty Spas, HotSpring, Sundance, Cal Spas, Marquis, and more.
Does my hot tub need to work for a trade-in?
No. We accept hot tubs in any condition — working, partially working, or non-functional. Working hot tubs have higher trade-in values, but we'll take tubs that need repairs, have leaks, blown pumps, or cracked shells.
How much is my hot tub worth as a trade-in?
Trade-in values depend on brand, age, model, size, and condition. Premium brands from the last 10 years in working condition typically get the highest credit. Submit our trade-in form with photos for a specific estimate.
Do you pick up the old hot tub?
Yes. When you purchase a new hot tub or swim spa from us, we coordinate removal of your old hot tub during delivery of the new one. This is often included at no extra charge for GTA customers.
Where do trade-in hot tubs go?
Working trade-ins may be refurbished and resold through our used hot tubs program. Non-functional tubs are responsibly disposed of or recycled for parts. We never dump hot tubs in landfills.
Can I trade in a hot tub I bought elsewhere?
Yes. We accept trade-ins regardless of where you originally purchased your hot tub. Many of our trade-in customers bought from competitors and are upgrading to our Platinum Spas or Artesian Spas lineup.
How long does the trade-in process take?
After you submit the form with photos, we respond with a trade-in estimate within 1-2 business days. If you proceed, the removal happens during the delivery of your new hot tub — usually 2-4 weeks after order.
Do you do trade-ins outside the GTA?
Yes, we serve most of southern Ontario including Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Georgetown, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, and Oshawa. Trade-ins outside the standard GTA delivery zone may have additional pickup fees.
